How far in advance can I cancel a music lesson?

As last minute cancellations are complicated to manage, please notify at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot honor an appointment. After this period, you will be asked for an equivalent of medical certificate (a simple dated prescription), otherwise the course will be invoiced to you.

However, you will be able to make up for the missed lesson by an "email session": by recording yourself singing or a video playing the guitar and sending me your recording (mp3 or mp4) by email or whatsApp.

I will be able to give you corrections, ideas on your interpretation, or technical exercises to help you strengthen the weak points of your voice or your guitar technique.

Do I have to pay for the lessons in advance monthly or yearly?

Many music schools ask for payment per semester or even yearly. However for my part I offer you a payment for only one course in advance in order to facilitate your task from a financial point of view.

 

The lessons prices are as follow :

 

60 frs / hour for weekly lessons

70 frs / hour for courses every two weeks

80 frs / hour for less frequent lessons

 

Do I have to have a certain level to be able to take lessons?

No all levels are welcome from complete beginners to more experienced students

I’m a very shy person. I'm afraid to sing in front of a teacher

No worries !

We will do things gradually. If you don't want to sing a song in front of me right away. I will make you feel comfortable by starting with vocal exercises which will aim to strengthen your voice but also to give you confidence. The lessons are there to help you technically in order to fully develop yourself in the art of singing or guitar playing.

 

You will have the opportunity to tell me about your fears and desires and I will adapt accordingly :)
